our story
In 2007 I fell in love with BBQ ribs. After devouring a slab of cherry smoked, perfectly tender ribs my life was forever changed. I had to figure out the craft and techniques of American BBQ. After moving to Colorado from Iowa in 2013, I was missing my favorite ribs I was used to eating all the time. In 2013, BBQ in Colorado had a lot of room for improvement. That prompted me to look for a food truck to build. In 2015 I quit my job at Texas Roadhouse and bought a retired Hostess truck. After careful thoughts and a lot of internet research Seasoned Swine was born. Fast forward to 2023 and I'm almost 3 years into my first brick and mortar. I am also around two weeks out of opening my second location. We also still operate the food truck. We currently employ twenty awesome teammates that keep the great reviews rolling in. My mission is to provide an exceptional BBQ experience to every guest who comes through our door!
